The home base for young talent in New Orleans to meet, learn, explore, connect and grow.

504connect

Navigating the New Orleans Networks
This is a powerful moment in New Orleans. The city is full of talented and ambitious young people like you, people committed to working hard, playing harder, and giving back to a community with so much to offer. We want to make sure we continue along this trajectory. 504connect is how 504ward plans to accomplish this.

So…. what is 504connect?

Simple, really: this is a program specifically for you and yours. Our primary goal is to foster connectivity across generational lines. The older ones can be pretty good to have around. Many understand the New Orleans economy and its primary movers and shakers. Others know how to navigate the restaurant world like seasoned pros. And virtually all are eager to share their experience and wisdom with the city's next generation of leaders.

Our goal is to turn six degrees of separation into two. Involvement in 504connect will mean relationships with the city's professional establishment, connection to a new network of cool young professionals, career and life guidance, and an opportunity to impact the city and its connectivity dynamics.

Sounds great! How can I get involved?
It's easy. We will be accepting our next round of applications in the winter of 2010.  At this point we are all full.  If you are selected in the winter of 2010, we will devise a personalized strategy to connect you to the networks and resources important for your success in New Orleans. If you live in the Greater New Orleans region and are between the ages of 23-35, you are eligible to apply.  We'll work with you on the time commitments and timeline that fits in your schedule.

I'm in!
