Meet the Team Jessica White - Jessica is the editor-in-chief, master of ceremonies, and jack of all trades on the 504ward team. She loves New Orleans and never met anyone she couldn’t convert to feeling the same. A recent graduate of UVA, Jessica is also the grand authority on all things "cool." When not planning the best parties of the year or making an outrageous to-do list, she can usually be found playing volleyball at Coconut Beach or dreaming up the next stop for the 504explores.
Nathan Scott - Nate Scott is the chief writer for 504ward.com. He is a 22-year-old senior majoring in creative writing at Tulane University. He loves the New Orleans Hornets and is very excited about the James Posey signing. Nate is proud to hail from the great state of Maine, and wishes more people respected it. He is also the office intern, and wishes more people respected that as well.
Carol Asher - Carol is the queen of 504connect. She has a distinguished background in marketing and national fundraising. Carol was also Executive Director for Tipitina's Foundation—the fantastic organization determined to put instruments back in the hands of musicians after Hurricane Katrina. When Carol’s around it's like hearing the ice cream truck go by—504s run madly to get connected.
Leslie Jacobs - Leslie is the founder of 504ward, our patron and our muse. Her work in education reform is unparalleled in the city of New Orleans. A successful business leader, Leslie has become a "venture philanthropist," which is as cool a job as it sounds. Leslie's generosity is only exceeded by her intellect and her determination, which we here at 504ward admire greatly.
The Idea Village - The IV staff is comprised of the craziest bunch of innovators ever to walk the earth. When not at Finn McCool’s Quiz Night or rolling strikes at Rock ‘n Bowl, the staff is devoted to fostering innovation and accelerating the growth of entrepreneurial ventures in the New Orleans region. Click here to meet The Idea Village team. Our Partners - None of the work of 504ward would be possible without the diverse and devoted collaboration of people and partners who are dedicated to improving the life of New Orleans for future generations.
